Palmerston North Swapmeet (somewhat of a misnomer now as the new venue is Manfield racecouse in Feilding) is on again Saturday 1 August. We've been going for 37 years - back to when the evnt was held in the Square at Palmy, in the days before shops were open on a Saturday......sigh!
It is a must do event and the only true hot rod swapmeet left in the country. It is always a great opportunity to catch up with rodders from all around the country.
Come check out our stand in the pavilion and in the meantime follow on the website (gallery/projects) progress as we put together the Moon 32 - a spec 3 window coupe which we'll have on display to demonstrate some of the many products we sell. The coupe features one of our bodies and chassis, with parts from Superbell, Pete & Jakes, Limeworks, Vintique, Walker Radiator, So-Cal Speedshop and of course Mooneyes.

Despite the rumours to the contrary, we can assure customers that the 36 million being won with a Masterton ticket, neither us or our staff won so it's business as usual!
However, we would be quite happy to build a car or 3 for the lucky winner!

The amazing F100 truck, affectionately know as 'Bob', we built for Jack Cooper a few years back has been sold to Mark McLennan in Australia and is about to stun the Ozzies on the show circuit there.
Bobs first show will be at MotorEx in Sydney in July and it has been given a wild card entry straight into the Mequiars superstars, so will be in the top 12 street machines in Australia for the finals.
We've had two other enquiries recently to build cars for Australians, and with the exchange rate in their favour the opportunities look promising.

The recent visit of Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top) & Pete Chapouris (So-Cal Speedshop) to New Zealand for Marineland Rod & Custom's annual run and swapmeet attracted a number of South Island vistors en route. A couple of the cars had to make minor repairs so we were glad to be of service. As Billy says "Getting there is part of the adventure"
